10°C or 10°F?
Hi Andrew,

Its 10F and that's without factoring in the wind chill

Regards
Marilyn

Hi Marilyn,

Just after I posted, I did find a haggis in New York. I still haven't found one in Paris yet. I wonder if the French Haggis is any different from the others :D

Merry Christmas to you and everyone, from me San Clemente ,California, where today's temp is about 72F. Not very Christmas like, to a northerner like me. xmas:roll: I suppose that you are enjoying your nice cold weather and pity my warm sunny temps without any snow. It will be hard, and I am sure that you feel sorry for me, but don't worry,I will somehow manage to overcome such warm sunny weather that I am suffering through.

Hi Merlot,

Ah -1c, u can fix that with a nice hot tardy. :D

Sheila, I'm not the least bit jealous of your 70 degree weather, I LOVE the four seasons of New England and wouldn't trade it for warm weather all year long. As a life long resident of New England, it just doesn't seem right to me to spent all that time in the sunshine, especially after I was in Florida a few months ago and it was 110 degree F in the shade. Have yourself a Merry Christmas.

Heading home for a hot tardy
Marilyn

Sheila,

I'd love some of your warm weather or any other kind that was dry! We had another 2-3 inches of rain here today and the kayakers are even looking at the ditches along the road, the water is moving so fast! All of this is turning to snow tonight north of here and headed for Marilyn tomorrow or Sunday.

My husband made it out of Kentucky and headed south just in the nick of time. I thought I might have to spend our 38th wedding anniversary tomorrow alone with my cats!

Carol :D
Looking for: Clerihew, Longmuir/Longmore, Chalmers, Milne, Barclay in Newhills,
Munro, Cadenhead, Raitt, Ririe/Reary

Hi Leslie,

I know how you feel. Just last week we had cool weather here. The temp was only in the fifties F. during the day, and about 40F at night. It was also very windy, we almost had to close all of the windows. My husband and I sat together on the sofa, with a blanket over our knees while we watched TV. He found it colder than I did. My husband, a third generation Californian, would never be able to make it in Canada. As for me, I couldn't help remembering when such a temperature in December would have been considered warm.

Marilyn- I do love the changing seasons and I remember them well. I am from Montreal , which is not the warmest city in the world. I loved the beautiful Autumn colors, and how the Christmass lights used to shine so brightly on the snow. My favorite season was Spring, May, when the grass became green again, flowers began to blossom, and the smell of lilacs was in the air. The only problem that I had was that winter lasted so long, at least it did back then, from just after Halloween till April or even May.

Like you I don't like hot weather. 110 F! :P I would prefer -50F to that. Thank heavens that it doesn't get that hot where I live.
