No need for her to make the journey if she's too frail to travel, - a signed letter of authority should be sufficient but check with the Adoption Unit at GROS.

Such a letter of authority would also enable her representative to access the Sheriff Court papers next door at National Archives of Scotland, the only problem with that being that the representative can only look at the papers and transcribe info, - it's only the adoptee who can obtain photocopies during such a visit.

That maybe the better option. But I'll contact the GROS first to double check before we go over.
