Hi Listers, I'm from Newcastle, NSW, Australia and am researching a Foley family that originated in Ireland, migrated to Scotland and thence Australia.

Would someone be willing to do a Govan Poorhouse lookup for me at the Mitchell Library please.

Details are:
Denys Foley (has also been spelled Denis)
Born Ireland c 1821
Died Govan Poorhouse 29 September, 1891.
His wife was Mary Ann Braden born Ireland c 1834 Died 6 February 1913 213 Stobcross Street.
His parents were Denis Foley and Ann McGowan and appear to have died before 1858

I am particularly interested in details of Denys' birthplace if available but any information would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Glenys Masson
