My husband made it out of Kentucky and headed south just in the nick of time. I thought I might have to spend our 38th wedding anniversary tomorrow alone with my cats!
Hi Carol,
Congratulations on your 38th anniversary! Wow, 38 years is a long long time.

Accu Weather is calling it a MAJOR NOR'EASTER with double digit snowfall. Great, the grocery stores will be a madhouse in the morning (thinking of sending my husband, lol)
Oh Sheila, I had no idea you were born in Montreal. There's no wonder you moved to California.
Regards
Marilyn

I have found only one haggis at Paris but none at New York. Maybe it depends on the time of day. I usually look in the evening.
researching Glacken, in Edinburgh and Glasgow and Ireland, McCartney and McAnally in Glasgow, Belli in Italy and Edinburgh, O'farrel in Tyrone and edinburgh, Mchendrie, Dawson and Findlay from Banff then Edinburgh, Main in Edinburgh. Mcdonald.

Hi hg,
I agree its most likely the time of day. Most of the haggis I've spotted was when Scotland was asleep.
Regards

Haggi have fled to Furin parts
Just spotted a golden one scaling the Eiffel Tower and another skulking around New York.
There's several inches of snow up the Falkirk Braes today, but Grangemouth is GREEN and they are only 200 meters lower down. My husband said there's nothing in Stirling either - I think they were getting funny looks when he took our eldest son to the hospital there - our car roof was still piled with snow!

Just realised that what I think was the old blacksmiths cottage at Gretna Green is no longer a Haggis spotting place on the site -pity, I quite liked that one.

Just spotted a big fat one hiding behind the evergreen tree in George's Square. A first for me.

And his eastern cousin is behind St Giles..
they look as if they've been at the Christmas left-overs.

I was going to save this link for a wee bit of fun on Hogmanay, but I just can't contain myself until then.
Have fun
