Merry Christmas to All.
My heating was repaired on Wednesday after 4 cold days. Now my Mum's heating has failed on Christmas morning. So I am heading there with the portable heaters that I was using. (Scottish Gas hope to get to mum's by 6pm today).
All the best,
AndrewP
Had a short snowfall this morning on top of the 4-6 inches that was already there.

Why do these things always happen at Christmas ? ! Our oven decided to pack up on Christmas morning a few years ago. Luckily our neighbour had two huge double ovens and saved the day. And well done to Scottish Gas. In this situation 6pm tonight aint a bad time.
Saw Edinburgh on the news yesterday and i have to say with our taster of snow last week that only just cleared in the last few days i am glad im not there - for once !

My we're looking very festive this morning!
Merry Christmas everybody from a cold and snowy (but very picturesque) Glasgow.
Renovations being done at my place - hopefully life will be back to normal soon.
Best wishes,
Annette

Scottish Gas did the job.

Their engineer turned up during the Queen's speech (3pm) and had the job done in under an hour.

The house soon heated up.
All the best,

... and when the meal was over my brother and I were on dish-washing duties - hot water was then available.

I did wonder about your Christmas meal, Andrew? Happy to hear your mum's heat is back on and dinner was served.
Regards

Looks as if we might be on dishwashing duties here - my dishwasher isn't working
