Hi Russell,

I don't have the paper right here with me, but that sounds like the same price range. I'm sure that every cemetery set its own rules, but my relatives were buried in T10 in 1874, 1877, 1891 and 1907 and my great grandfather didn't leave Aberdeen until 1916 so he must have known about the other burials. This is so different than what happens over here in the USA where we have vast acreages devoted to cemeteries and undertakers make large sums of money off each funeral and burial. Certainly is an unusal sidebar to researching a family tree!

Hi Grothenwell,

Isabella Clerihew married John Still June 15, 1857. Their children were John Jr., Isabella, George, Ann, Mary Ann, James and Margaret Robinson. John Sr.'s parents were George Still and Margaret Robertson. John Sr.'s siblings were Alexander, Johnston, Isabel, Margaret, George Jr., William, Elizabeth, James and Robert. John Sr. was a seaman and then a shipmaster and he died in 1883 in Aberdeen. John Sr.'s father George was an overseer in a linen bleaching factory. As far as I know the family lived in Aberdeen, mostly in Old Machar.

It would be great if we were related, but there are lots of Stills out there! Who were yours?

Hi Carol,

Yes there are a lot of Stills out there, but your Stills are my Still family :-)

I've sent you a PM with my email if you want to get in touch.

Best wishes,
