Re: Access Problems
I'm sure when Andrew thinks that they have finally got this one beat, they will post letting us know. Still very hit or miss for me. Bit like my printer that is now flashing an orange warning light, and will not print. Supposed to indicate low on paper, but that is NOT the problem. Oh the joys of modern machines. Much too technical for me. Give me an animal any day. Alan SHARP.

Re: Access Problems
Seems to be working fine now Alan, logged on 5 or 6 times this evening with no problems, isn't technology marvellous ?.....Regards Del

Re: Access Problems
Was browsing the forum quite happily using safari on the ipad when I was kicked out - tried to log in again and got the now infamous out of memory message and yet I was able to access the forum with no problem when I booted up the desktop machine using Firefox to access.

Re: Access Problems
Sadly, I'm now one of those to be locked out!
Was reading a post this afternoon and left it to do some searching then came back later and hit the back page button only to get the SORRY message.
Tried on and off for a while but couldn't get anywhere. Just tried it again and presto...as you can see, I'm in!
Regards,
Anne H

Re: Access Problems
First time in today, but only after Googling "FAQ TalkingScot" and clicking on that link provided. Once on the FAQ page, I was even allowed to Logon. Previous attempts to use Google to get to the FORUM, by clicking the Google forum page option failed. Alan SHARP.

Re: Access Problems
Still having trouble accessing the Forum.
Get on once in the day if I am lucky even though I try several different times.

Re: Access Problems
As mentioned in some of the posts above, as a workaround while the 'fatal error' problem is still with us, you should be able to access the forum via the FAQ page. It is worth bookmarking that address.
