Thanks Currie, for the heads up about the SBS for WDYTYA.

Of course the cricket was on last Sunday but it is back on this coming week. Not sure if it is Wednesday Foxtel or SBS but one of the episodes is for JErry Springer....hmmmmm...should be......interesting!

Something was said by an army museum person on last night's episode about sending wives over with soldiers, and that the very last time the British army did this was for the Crimean War. And it was only 4% of wives, and it was done by ballot on the day of departure. So does this mean they did not allow wives for the Boer Wars then? Or, if wives were there, did it mean they got there themselves? Hmmmm!
