OK, I know I'm still not used to my new specs  , but...

I can't find anything meriting a slap for our wini. Am I just not looking hard enough, or maybe just not easily shocked. :?

Has Wini been reprieved with no case to answer, or do we have to mount a 'Save Oor Wini' campaign? Any comments from the AG?

Placards at the ready :?

I know I'm probably putting myself in the firing line here but...

Winn's question about my satin sheets and what it was like sleeping in them, and my answer that they were slippery?

Might I explain?

Satin sheets are, by their very nature, slippery! Every breath resulted in the top one with their accompanying blankets, etc... (pre-duvet) simply slipping off the bed!

If the exchange between me and wini about this caused anyone embarrassment all I can say is - what other explanation could they possibly have imagined?

Dinna worry about the satin sheets, no offence caused - just sorry to hear it wasn't the luxury experience the giver of the present may have had in mind!

Best wishes

Wini: Can't see what for - I hope that we're not headed on to the 'politically correct' band wagon, where every comment is taken apart and analysed to death, thereby removing ALL fun and humour from everything.

Lesley,

Let's just say it wasn't a romantic scenario; Waking up in the middle of the night freezing to death

[soapbox]

Dear Wini, Davie, Russell, Emanday, Paddyscar and all the members of TS.

We have a total misunderstanding here. Please understand Wini did not receive a warning from the AG of TS, although she did receive a communication which has been misunderstood. The AG of TalkingScot applogizes for any confusion. Now with that being said let me buy ya all a pint. [5 cups] (Although it may be early by the time you all read this)

Has everyone taken a look at our new emoticons? They are adorable. [cheers]

Best Regards
Marilyn

P.S. Wini ya need to get back to posting right away.

Thank goodness for that, this forum is the best on the web \:D/ and one of the reasons it is is because there are no band wagons. I was getting a wee bit worried so I am very glad it was misunderstanding.

Thank you everyone for your support.

I would like to suggest that the COMPLAINANTS make their complaints to me either through the thread, email or PM.
I have been through my Posts and find it hard to find anything that is offensive.

Going to the AG is a bit like cliping to the teacher and CLIPES were never popular.

I can't really believe that all the Scots have lost their sense of humour as that is what got us through the HARD TIMES.

I was going to add a couple of more things but I don't really want to fall through the THIN ICE I am walking on and I don't appreciate being called a Trouble Maker.

Ban me if you must but just post it on the site so everyone will know
what dreadful thing I have done.

Having got that off my chest I hope you all enjoy Talking Scot Forum
