It seems rather churlish to be carping and making snide comments when Andrew is obviously having to spend a great deal of time trying to solve this problem.

Perhaps, as WilmaM suggests, those of us who are still accessing the site without problems should be doing more posting.

Best wishes,
Meg

I agree Meg. As one who was here when the previous site collapsed, I'm well aware (and much appreciative) of the hard work that goes on behind the scenes of what is, after all, a completely free and completely voluntary run site - which we've all benefitted from at one time or another.

Shame on anyone who takes such things for granted in these moneymaking, moneygrabbing, financially difficult times.

Keep up the good work Andrew, most of us appreciate your efforts - and will still be here when you manage to get the current problem sorted.

Regards
Ann

I absolutely agree with this and the other posters. What right have any of us to be moaning about the time it is taking to sort out what is obviously not a straightforward problem on a free and voluntarily run site. It's comments like this which make volunteers give up - after all why should anyone spend their free time, and probably own money, to provide a resource for people when all you get is criticsm?

Hope the behind the scenes work is not too painful for you Andrew.

My access problems only started on 11/2/12, so not even 2 weeks yet.

I would like to thank Andrew for all his hard work behind the scenes.

I know I don't post on here very much but I do drop in most days and appreciate any help I have had in the past.

all the best
