Looking forward to work tomorrow

Post by nelmit » Tue Dec 18, 2007 7:40 pm

I started a new job recently as a library assistant and I'm off to The Mitchell as part of a training course to inform the public of their resources(nobody else wanted to do it  :D ).

I will be asking questions :!:

Kind regards,
Annette M

Hi Annette:

Congratulations on the new job! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did for all my years in library work. It is a very rewarding job and there is always something new to learn, so it's never boring.

All the best,
Frances

Ooooh ! Annette

I started my working life in a bookshop and thought that was heaven. A library must be three steps better........And the Mitchell :D Bliss.

Don't resist too hard when they have to throw you out at night. there's always tomorrow.

Hi Annette, you don´t know how lucky you are - say I, married to a music-librarian. Her comment, I suspect would be, "well yes and no" but generally speaking she is most positive about the work, and seems to be involved right round the clock, for better or worse.

Anyway, congratulations,

Guid hunting,

Thrall
