Staff change at TS
Hi All,
Marilyn has let the TalkingScot Admin Group know that she has other commitments to look after for the next few months, so will be taking leave of absence from the Admin Group for that time. In the meantime, she will stay on the "staff" as a moderator.
The Admin Group thanks Marilyn for her all work put into the AG for the last (more than) two years, and looks forward to her return next year.
All the best,
AndrewP
current Chair of the TS Admin Group

Sheila, Anne & Nancy,
Thanks for your kind sentiments!
Ladies did you honestly think that you'd get rid of me that easy?
I'm only scaling back my responsibilities on TalkingScot, after being part of the Administration Group for the past 27 months. I have a few projects which need my attention and I really want to finish them up after they've collected dust for sooo long now.
For the time being, I will be rejoining the Moderator Group of TalkingScot, which is where I began back in March of 2005. So if you add the numbers up its fast approaching 40 months straight. I need a break.....
The only difference that you'll notice is my name lighting up in green, which is my favorite color of the rainbow...
Regards
Marilyn

Hi Marilyn,
Is one of your projects going to be bailing out your boat? I heard that Providence got 4.5 inches of rain in 45 minutes the other day and there was a tornado in Rhode Island yesterday!
Hope you're ok and can enjoy the rest of the summer!
Carol

Hi Carol,
Not only was there a tornado in RI, but lightening struck something in back of my office and shook the building
The sky was a weird color of greenish black, a color that I've never never seen in my entire life! To say that I was a tad bit shaken would be an understatement. Soo many streets were flooded and it took me forever to get home, but the good news is that I live on a hill.
Regards

Hi Rae,
Scary stuff thats for sure...I'm already enjoying myself
Hi Carol,
Next time I see that color sky, I'll click my heels three times and head for the root cellar.
Epson, New Hampshire (150 miles of RI) was hit with a tornado yesterday. Over two hundred houses damaged and dozens were leveled.
One lady was killed when her house collasped. Poor thing.
Regards
