Haggis Hunt

Post by WilmaM » Mon Dec 01, 2008 3:21 pm

The Haggis Hunt is back on again!

From St Andrew's Day until Burn's Night.

A bit of non-sense really, but the web cams are good for seeing what the weather's like around the country!

It does look like a platypus doesn't it? I'm going to have to try this again tomorrow when it's daylight over there. Glasgow was very foggy and Gleneagles was pitch black!

I did see one haagis though.

It's snowing here in Alabama. We got about an inch and they closed the schools. Won't be a loaf of bread left in any of the stores tonight...

In the 10 years I lived in Minnesota, there was only one day when they closed the schools-- "there's only 2 feet of fresh snow this morning and it's not that cold-- only 20 below-- no problem!" I'm not kidding... Hardy folk up there

Sarah,

My sister lives in Houghton, MI. She calls anything less than a foot of snow "shoveling flurries". She'll be on the floor when I tell her about today!

Saw a second haagis and registered this one! Hope I win a pass for the archives! Can't afford the plane ticket to get over there for the grand prize!

These are not Scottish Haggis at all.
They are a distant relative. The Australian Haggis :!:

Hi All

I have been faithfully hunting the Haggis every day. :D I usually see one. Has anybody else been having luck?
