Post moved here to a thread of its own as it was at the end of another query. LesleyB

Thanks Lesely, I wasn't aware of this. Could you tell me when the next visit is, as I am looking for the info from five death certs after the sp cut off, to make sure I have the correct people, and a search for a marriage which is proving difficult for me, due to the bride having a common surname (too many on sp) and any children born to this couple, once you know the names from the marriage? This is great.
Many thanks

Lorraine

Hi Lorraine
We do not organise "visits" on TS. It is up to each individual member if they feel inclined to help someone out. This may depend on when they are next planning a visit and if they can fit in some research on behalf of another member; as I mentioned, we do not offer a look up service, we are a group of peole interested in Scots family history who try to help each other out. If you are hoping for a freebee look up service, you may be on the wrong forum.

If your "difficult bride" is before the cut off dates, perhaps we can help with that one?

Best wishes
Lesley
