Does anyone know of a McAllister MP?

Remember reading on the McAllister Clan web site (American) an article from a person called Fergus McAllister.
In this article he mentioned how he was related too a McAllister who was an M.P. for Parliament for the Rutherglen Area.
He had went on too say that he had a knowledge of a further 4 generations of McAllisters. He said that his family had since moved too Manchester and had taken up his mothers name of Stewart.
Tried too contact him by his e-mail address for further info but it was an old article and was unable to speak to him. Reason wishing to contact him was the names McAllister/ Stewart. As my G/G/ grand parents where called this.
Does anyone know anything about this McAllister MP?

Can't recall his first name, but i think the years are correct.
Been a while since i read this article and have went back to look for it since, but couldn't find it.
