Trying to save document from SP

I have an RCE which I am having difficulty reading. I tried to save it so then I could upload it to the gallery here at TS.
Trouble is it won't save as a TIFF. Computer says "save as file type" and then my only option as "all files*.*" and a warning comes up on SP that it not being saved as a TIFF.
I don't know what the file ext is, but it's not one acceptable to TS so I'm stuck. I'm on XP and using IE for my browser.

Hopefully someone has a simple solution.

Hi Barb,

On SP, go into "My Details" and change your "Image Viewer" to "Direct Download" then click on "Update Details". You'll be able to save the image as a tiff.

thanks so much, I had a feeling it would be fairly simple.

I will try that and see if it I can get my RCE into the gallery.
