Does the Poor Relief document not state her birth date, etc? They are usually very detailed and they would be confirmed too (from what I have seen)

Looking at the above dates you are looking for a birth pre 1855, well within the cut off period

» Births 1855-2006 on SP <cut off date for TS = 1908>
» Marriages 1855-1933 on SP <same date for TS>
» Deaths 1855-2006 on SP <cut off date for TS = 1958>

<TS dates cut -off dates added. LesleyB>

So its ok to name names !
Scotland - Donaldson / Moggach / Shaw / Geddes / Sim / Gray / Mackie / Richards / Joel / Coull / Mckimmie / Panton / McGregor
Ireland and Scotland - Casey / McDade / Phillips / McCandle / Dinely / Comaskey + various spellings

Hi Justjan:

SP (ScotlandsPeople) allows you to distribute the information from any of the documents (digitally online / photoprint / transcript) you purchase from them. The thing you can not do, is replicate those documents and distribute them.

Just wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that TalkingScot has several sections on how to make the TalkingScot website work for you.

As you're a fairly new user, you might find useful information in

Essential Reading http://talkingscot.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=14

Hints & tips to help you get the most out of your visits to Talking Scot.

http://talkingscot.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=60

And if you are like me, and are more comforatable with visual aids, there is the TS PowerPoint Presentation, which can be viewed by clicking on the button in the header of this page.

Hope this helps to make some of your future searches easier.

Best wishes,
Frances
