Hi everyone:
I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on just how far the changes in the world-wide economy were impacting genealogical research?
It would be interesting to see if the likes of Ancestry or ScotlandsPeople will see significant changes.

Similar situation here - finding it hard to justify some of the expense when there are other more pressing requirements for that cash. It's oatcakes and cheese here till the end of the month....I can tell you that this rotten economy has hit me drastically...although I still use SP, but with a very skimpy budget.
Best wishes

Sounds like when I had to eat soup for lunch and dinner for two weeks...now I love my homemade soup, but I can tell you that by the end of those two weeks I'd had more than enough. Haven't had it since and eat normally.It's oatcakes and cheese here till the end of the month....

I'm with you Anne.
All the hunting and finding is just so much fun but it comes a point when all that data has to be tackled (for me that is not so much fun
)
Needless to say though, the economy has not stopped my card from the odd swipe or two.
