Lost Posts ?

Post by trish58 » Mon Aug 03, 2009 2:46 am

Hi team :D

I was going over my past post's to the forum-as one of them I needed to add to ( update more info onto the forum ). Sadly whilst the names of the post's are listed when you click onto it there is "no topic listed" I take it that these where all lost when the site went down :?: :?:

Not to worry these things can't be helped.

Hi Trish58:

There are several areas that have not been fully restored. Andrew is working on that, and we can't give a date (yet), but all is not lost.

All the best,

That is proving tricky. I am having to do some experimenting in the background to get it right. If only phpBB's database restore function was as simple as the name implies. If the data table is more than a particular size, you have to upload it in pieces, many pieces.

All the best,

Andrew

Hi Frances & Andrew :D

Thanks for the reply, it doesn't really matter, "what's gone is gone" it isn't a matter of life & death, plus it's great that you at least have the site up & running again that's the most important thing.

Thanks-Trish :D
