As much as I am partial to a vodka, usually with fresh orange juice, I don't think I am drinking my share (according to these reported statistics).

My (english) partner pondered the alleged Scottish affection for vodka and then commented that he supposed it would be bad PR for the Scottish government to cite whisky consumption!

My dad is on his third bottle of Whisky so far this year (thats one a week) claiming it helps keep him warm in this awful weather - lets see what happens as the weather gets milder, at this rate 46 bottles will seem like a walk, or a stagger, in the park :-

I remember when I was wee that there would be a bottle of Buckfast hidden at the side of my granny's chair when we went to visit. She called it her 'medicine'. :wink:
