Holiday Greetings

Post by marilyn morning » Thu Dec 23, 2010 4:10 pm

Its the holiday season for many and with lots of folks celebrating with some down time, thought I'd to start this off-topic thread to spread our greeting around the [globe]

With a dusting of snow this morning in Rhode Island, we may have a White Christmas? Fairly certain that Scotland is getting most of our snow?

Hi Marilyn

We could ship most of it across to Rhode Island and still have plenty left over for OUR white Christmas

May the festive season bring peace and tranquility to all our members, their families and everyone else that are not part of our unique group. :!: :D

Hi Marilyn,

Happy Holidays from Soggy California. [cheers] Today is the first day in a week that we didn't have rain. I don't mean just a little bit of rain either. I mean inches of the wet stuff. Nearly 4 inches yesterday alone.

So much for Sunny California. :D

Hi Russell,

RI will accept all snow donations from across the pond xmas:razz: Our dusting melted.

Sheila you're lucky that rain isn't snow. 1" of rain = 12 " of snow xmas:cheesygrin:

Hi Marilyn and all,

I hope you all have a lovely holiday during this season, we had 3 foot of snow and my Mother said " Och its just a wee drappie" she recalled walking the 3mile to school, with the drifts right up to the top of the hedges, wished I was as tough as she was!!

Best Wishes to all, keep warm, maybe its time for a wee dram!!
