Hello,
William Murray and Jean (Jane Rew) were my great, great, great grand parents. They were farmers in Arbuthnott in Kincardne. They had children, William, James, John, Jean and Alexander (my great great grandfather.
Alexander Murray left Scotland for India in 1870, where he spent several years learning the tea trade. He emigrated to Australia sometime in the 1870's, where he met and married my great great grandmother Katherine Christie.
He settled in Perth, Western Australia and had eight children, including my grandfather William Murray. I would love to hear from any descendants of William and Jean.
