Thomas Fulton born 1806 Kinghorn Fifeshire

I'm researching my late mother's ancestors.
Thomas Fulton born 30 March 1806, occupation: Carpenter,Shipwright,Journeyman
According to my late Uncle's records Thomas Fulton married Isabella Munro
and they lived at 47 Dalrymple St, Greenock in 1866 and No: 42 Dalrymple St in 1874.
Thomas died 19 Aug 1880 at 8 Ann St, Greenock aged 75 years.
Can sks confirm these details and perhaps add further information eg, his and his Wife's parents
and grandparents.
The IGI have a note re a Thomas Fulton born Fife 1806 serving in the British Army 1853 - 1857.
Could this possibly have been him?

According to the 1841 census from FREECEN Thomas was born at Renfrewshire (but it also says Isabella was too but later census records show her born Argyll) -

There is a death indexed in 1880 of a Thomas Fulton at Greenock of the correct age. There is also one for an Isabella Fulton/Munro in 1863 at Greenock. These entries can be viewed at http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk and should give you their parents names.

23/9/1836 Fulton, David. Father Thomas Fulton, Mother Isabella Munro, Kilfinan, Argyll.
I don't have the credits to search this lot further at the present, but it should give you a good lead.

Thank you for this information, sorry I haven't replied sooner. The address was interesting - Manse Lane Gemmell Land. Also have ancestors surname GEMMELL.
