There are several other family trees on various web sites that are all connected to these people & seem to be at the same brick wall.. Question:- are there any other records for this time period and parish yet to be transcribed and if so when is this likely to occur... any information regarding this will be much appreciated kind regards Edward ..

brick wall
Hello , I have hit a brick wall I have on my family tree Sween Macdonald 1742 - 1828 my 5th great grandfather & his wife Janet McKay 1739 - 1811 , they lived in Clachnaharry Inverness had 8 children.. Sween was a boat builder & both Sween & Janet are buried at the Bunchrew Burial ground along with his son John Macdonald1767 - 1801 & his wife Janet Corbat ...From all the research I have carried out there doesn't seem to be any other information e.g marriage cert , parents names for both , birth certificates etc ...

Hello Sweenmac
Unfortunately many of us hit that kind of brick-wall.
Unfortunately it is unlikely that there are parish records waiting to be transcribed, although amazing things sometimes do happen.
It really depended on the diligence of local registrar's, and also unfortunately some were lost or destroyed.
