Hello can anyone please tell me if passenger lists exist for ships leaving australia bound for England.
what i am looking for is a record of a Mary/Minnie Eid leaving Australia some time between 1886 and 1888 .Mary/Minnie sailed to Australia in 1886 on board the Dorunda along with her husband Lorenzo unfortunatly he died on board ship from cholera and was buried on magnetic island by the ships doctor this ship was then quarrintined at peel island before going on to queensland.try as i might i could not find a trace of Mary/Minnie but think i have just struck gold !! with a possible trace of her in Essex in 1888 when a Minnie Eid married a George Bartlett and on the 1901census her birth place ties in if not her age !!given that Eid is an unusual name in Ireland i feel this must be her but will have to wait to see what the marriage cert throws up so meantime i would like to be able to trace her journey back from australia if at all possible. thanks in advance

Try this link, http://members.iinet.net.au/~perthdps/s ... g-qld4.htm and click on 1886, it will give you film numbers to check with LDS.
