Kyle Combination Ayrshire.....

Hello Everyone

Thanks to a site that Russell gave me in another post I now know that the address given on my greatgranmother death cert was a poorhouse when she died 13 July 1924.

Her name was Jessie Gray m.s Muir. Her Husbands family came from Ayr he was born Kilmarnock. I thought she was visiting relations when she died.

Is there anyone here who has access to Kyle poorhouse records or can tell me where I can access these records? I would be most grateful for any information.

you can access the records at Ayrshire Archives and it gives a list of the actual records here

Haven't any personal experience of getting records for this poorhouse , so not sure what exactly they have.
