According to the book "Old Cowdenbeath" by Jim Hutcheson, St Bride's primary in Cowdenbeath was originally called the Cowdenbeath RC school. It opened in 1904, was renamed in the 1940s and closed in 1973. This school was at the bottom of Stenhouse Street. I'm racking my brains trying to think what is on the site now as I went to another school on the same street!

There is still a St Bride's in Cowdenbeath but not in the same location.
