According to the TS Forum search facility, Whitsome does not seem to have been mentioned here on TS to date. A most attractive website has been set up by a Lesley Robertson with MIs, census and other information including a photograph of my gr.gr.gr.grandfather´s and his son´s headstone from 1803!
For those few like myself who did not know of this parish´s existence, it is situated on the Border adjoining Ladykirk, Edrom and Swinton which I had heard of....

Great link Thrall, thanks for that. I've added it to the list in Churhyards & MIs...just wish I had some folk in that area now!
Best wishes
Lesley

I just want to bump this one up again, the site is excellent and if anyone has ancestors buried in the old graveyard with a headstone still visible then the chances are the stone will be photographed and the MI recorded to accompany the photograph.
As well as the burial ground there are quite a few references to the farms around Whitsome as well as old photographs of the village and census information. It's a shame not all sites are like this, it really is a little treasure.
