Gentle Reminder - Mother's Day in Scotland

Post by WilmaM » Wed Mar 14, 2007 12:40 pm

In case you didn't know:

Mother's Day is this coming Sunday 18th of March

Those of you with Mothers [ grannies] in the UK had better get your skates on if you are to stay in their good books!

Hi WilmaM

I like the "gentle" bit :!: [pour-drink]

All such reminders should be similarly gentle, in my personal opinion [5 cups]

Erm! Maybe my writing "Mother's Day" in big red letters on the calendar WAS a bit over the top

Nope some children need all the help they can get.
I remember when living in USA my sister sent me the most stinking letter
"ungrateful, selfish, thoughtless" were amongst the more pleasant words.
I off course was completelty oblivious to my crime as Mothers Day is celebrated later in the year there.

Davie ma ain Mammy is in Heaven, she was called home 16 years ago before I was married.

That's why I like to make sure those of you with them still remember!

Hi Davie
I don't think it matters what type of school you went to - I think perhaps it has more to do with the individual teacher & their timetable plans!

Best wishes
Lesley
